Clarence Alfred "Jack" Herald, 95, of Mt. Sterling, Ill., died August 1, 2024, at his residence. Services will be August 5, at 1 p.m., in the Hendricker Funeral Home in Mt. Sterling. Burial will follow in the Versailles West Side Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted at the graveside by the Illinois National Guard Funeral Honors Detail and the Mt. Sterling American Legion Post #374. Visitation will be August 5, from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
