Beardstown, Illinois: Janet Louise Mitchell, age 60, of Beardstown, Illinois and formerly of Mt. Sterling, Illinois passed away at 6:14 p.m. on Monday, August 19, 2024 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield,Illinois.
She was born July 23, 1964 in Beardstown, Illinois the daughter of Richard Marvin and Jeanne Lucy Demers Mitchell.
Janet was a homemaker and had also worked at Hawkeye Glove Factory in Beardstown, Illinois for several years.
She graduated from Brown County High School with the class of 1982 and was of the catholic faith.
Janet was known as an artistic person who also enjoyed knitting, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her father, Richard Mitchell of Mt.
